How it works
- resilientNew word
- resilient?A week later
- resilient?About four weeks later
- impartial
- impenetrable
- imperceptible
- impractical
Two new words every weekday, around 7am Eastern.
One of each day's two words comes back as a flashcard a week later, and again about four weeks later.
On the SAT, a prefix can help you eliminate answers even when you don't know the word. So whenever a prefix really carries a word's meaning, the email points it out.
Questions
Is there still vocabulary on the digital SAT?
Yes, in Words in Context questions. Most give you a short passage with a blank and four words to choose from, and the choices are often words like these.
Is a word a day enough?
On its own, no. What Daily Words adds is spaced review: one of each day's words comes back a week later and again about a month later, instead of disappearing after one read.
How do I unsubscribe?
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and most email apps also show an unsubscribe button at the top.
